Buying guide: Which washer dryer is best for you?

The size of your household can help determine your ideal washing dryer capacity. A busy family often requires a larger drum to handle bigger laundry loads. 

A smaller drum capacity may suit you if you prefer washing light loads regularly. If you wash clothes less often, you might need to wash more in one go and, therefore, need a bigger drum. 

Larger loads, such as bed linens and duvets, benefit from a bigger drum capacity, where they can move more freely. Choose a capacity that matches the type of laundry you do most often.

Washer dryers have two energy ratings – one for the washing cycle and one for the combined washing and drying cycle. The EU energy efficiency class ranges from A to G, where A is the most efficient. There is also emerging communication to show performance better than A for the washing cycle.
